I coached wrestling at Newcastle Meadowbank Youth Club from 1994 to 2002. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Coach Trung
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Trung: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
