Coach Tong
Volleyball coach, Portland Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 Portland, Oregon, United States
- Portland Athletic Club
- 2005 to 2022
- English, Spanish
I coached volleyball at Portland Athletic Club from 2005 to 2022. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Tong
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Tong: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
