Coach Tomoya
Hockey and fitness coach, Fukuoka
- 🇯🇵 Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan
- Lakeview Boxing Gym
- 2013 to 2022
- Japanese
For nine years I ran the hockey program at Lakeview Boxing Gym in Fukuoka. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Tomoya
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Tomoya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
