Coach Tiago

Chess and fitness coach, Rio de Janeiro

  • 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Rio de Janeiro Good Shepherd Swimming Club
  • Since 2017
  • Portuguese
For nine years I've run the chess program at Rio de Janeiro Good Shepherd Swimming Club in Rio de Janeiro. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
