I've coached martial arts at Brooklyn Swimming Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Coach Theodore: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
