Coach Themba

Youth basketball coach and mentor

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Johannesburg Boxing Gym
  • Since 1991
  • English, Zulu
I'm a basketball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 700 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Coach Themba

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
