For 24 years I've run the chess program at Mount Pleasant Football Club in Hanoi. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Coach Thảo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
