Coach Tarun
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Community Club
- Since 1984
- English, Hindi
I've coached chess at Thane Community Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Coach Tarun: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
