Coach Tareq
Netball and fitness coach, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Since 1980
- English
I've coached netball at Andes Athletic Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Tareq
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Coach Tareq: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the time the class pet escaped. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Casablanca.
