Coach Tanvir
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1994
- English, Bengali, Spanish
For 32 years I've run the wrestling program at Mumbai Fairview Football Club in Mumbai. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Tanvir
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Tanvir: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
