Coach Tanvir
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- 1983 to 2008
- English, Bengali
For 25 years I ran the hockey program at Bengaluru Boxing Gym in Bengaluru. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Tanvir
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Tanvir: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
