I'm a boxing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 720 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Tammy
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Tammy: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
