I coached rowing at Hồ Chí Minh City Athletic Club from 2007 to 2019. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
What gifts mean to Coach Tài: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
