I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 2,740 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Coach Tahmina
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Tahmina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
