Coach Tabitha

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
  • Dodoma Swimming Club
  • Since 1990
  • English, Swahili, Spanish
For 36 years I've run the rowing program at Dodoma Swimming Club in Dodoma. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.

More about Coach Tabitha

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Tabitha: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
