Coach Stephanie
Chess coach, Acacia Football Club
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- Acacia Football Club
- Since 1983
- English, French
I've coached chess at Acacia Football Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Stephanie
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
