I've coached volleyball at Lotus Boxing Gym since 2012. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
