I coached rowing at St. Petersburg Athletic Club from 2013 to 2023. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Coach Sophia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Sophia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
