- Juiz de Fora Football Club
- Since 2015

I've coached softball at Juiz de Fora Football Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Coach Sônia
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Coach Sônia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
