For 36 years I've run the athletics program at Medellín Athletic Club in Medellín. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Sofía: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
