I coached baseball at Nashik Mount Pleasant Swimming Club from 1989 to 2000. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
