Coach Skylar
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Sports Club
- Since 1991

For 35 years I've run the cross country program at Oakland Sports Club in Oakland. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Skylar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Skylar: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
