Coach Siyabonga
Coached chess for ten years in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Community Club
- 2013 to 2023
- English, Afrikaans, Spanish
I coached chess at Johannesburg Community Club from 2013 to 2023. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Siyabonga
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Siyabonga: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
