Coach Simone
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil
- 2016 to 2025
- Portuguese
For nine years I ran the boxing program at Curitiba Youth Club in Curitiba. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Coach Simone
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Simone: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
