Coach Simiyu

Youth badminton coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
  • Arusha Community Club
  • Since 2004
  • English
I've coached badminton at Arusha Community Club since 2004. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Coach Simiyu

If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Coach Simiyu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
