Coach Silvia
Badminton and fitness coach, Monterrey
- 🇲🇽 Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Monterrey Community Club
- 1983 to 2021
- English
I coached badminton at Monterrey Community Club from 1983 to 2021. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Coach Silvia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1991. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Dhaka.
