Coach Silas
Coached badminton for twelve years in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Mount Pleasant Youth Club
- 1986 to 1998
- English
I coached badminton at Mount Pleasant Youth Club from 1986 to 1998. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Silas
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Coach Silas: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
