Coach Shrijana
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇳🇵 Lalitpur, Bagmati, Nepal
- 1980 to 1989
- English, Nepali
For nine years I ran the athletics program at Highland Sports Club in Lalitpur. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
What gifts mean to Coach Shrijana: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1985. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Ottawa.
