I coached netball at Dhaka Swimming Club from 2005 to 2017. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Coach Shapla: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
