I've coached hockey at Dhaka Meadowbank Football Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
More about Coach Shapla
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Shapla: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
