I'm a boxing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,080 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Shankar
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Coach Shankar: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
