Coach Shan
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Louisville, Kentucky, United States
- Louisville Community Club
- 2013 to 2021
- English, Mandarin
For eight years I ran the volleyball program at Louisville Community Club in Louisville. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Shan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
