Coach Shakil
Football coach, Thane Youth Club
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Youth Club
- 1992 to 2019
- English, Bengali, Spanish
For 27 years I ran the football program at Thane Youth Club in Thane. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Coach Shakil
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Shakil: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
