Coach Sebastian
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇩🇪 Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany
- Acacia Sports Club
- 2013 to 2021
- English, German
For eight years I ran the chess program at Acacia Sports Club in Regensburg. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Sebastian
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Sebastian: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
