Coach Scarlett
Martial arts coach, Mobile Swimming Club
- 🇺🇸 Mobile, Alabama, United States
- Mobile Swimming Club
- 1983 to 1999
- English
I coached martial arts at Mobile Swimming Club from 1983 to 1999. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Scarlett
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Scarlett: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
