Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States

For 21 years I've run the rowing program at Bakersfield Swimming Club in Bakersfield. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Coach Scarlett: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
