For 22 years I ran the tennis program at Summit Swimming Club in Addis Ababa. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Sara
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
