Coach Samuel

Youth cross country coach and mentor

  • 🇨🇦 Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
  • Winnipeg Highland Youth Club
  • Since 1996
  • English
For 30 years I've run the cross country program at Winnipeg Highland Youth Club in Winnipeg. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Coach Samuel

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
