Coach Samina
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Rosewood Community Club
- Since 1979
- English, Punjabi
I've coached rowing at Rosewood Community Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Samina
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Samina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
