Coach Ryan
Chess coach, San Diego Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Since 1999
- English
I've coached chess at San Diego Athletic Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Ryan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ryan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
