Coach Ryan
Wrestling coach, Hope Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Hope Athletic Club
- 1983 to 2020
- English
I coached wrestling at Hope Athletic Club from 1983 to 2020. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Ryan
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
