For 28 years I've run the boxing program at San Jose Athletic Club in San Jose. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Coach Ryan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
