Coach Ruth
Athletics coach, Hawassa Unity Football Club
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- Hawassa Unity Football Club
- Since 2001
- English
I've coached athletics at Hawassa Unity Football Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

You coached me in 2009. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Truly.
