Coach Ruth
Badminton coach, Charlotte Sports Club
- 🇺🇸 Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
- Charlotte Sports Club
- 1986 to 2005
- English
For 19 years I ran the badminton program at Charlotte Sports Club in Charlotte. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Ruth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
