Coach Ruth
Coached cross country for ten years in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Athletic Club
- 1997 to 2007
- English, Spanish
I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 280 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
More about Coach Ruth
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Ruth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2003. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Bahir Dar.
