Coach Ruth
Hockey coach, Thika Trinity Boxing Gym
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Trinity Boxing Gym
- 2009 to 2017
- English, Swahili
I coached hockey at Thika Trinity Boxing Gym from 2009 to 2017. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Ruth
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Coach Ruth: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
