For 44 years I've run the boxing program at Holy Cross Community Club in Dhaka. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Ruma
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Coach Ruma: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
