Coach Rudi
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇮🇩 Bandung, West Java, Indonesia
- 1982 to 1992
- English, Indonesian
For ten years I ran the badminton program at Bandung Rosewood Athletic Club in Bandung. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
More about Coach Rudi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Rudi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
