Coach Rubina
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Since 1990
- English, Bengali
For 36 years I've run the rugby program at Acacia Community Club in Dhaka. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
More about Coach Rubina
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Coach Rubina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
