For 44 years I've run the table tennis program at Dublin Gateway Youth Club in Dublin. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Kadıköy.
